Pixmania was launched in 2000 and from the start placed its emphasis on e-commerce. While the company maintains a small number of showrooms these are limited to certain parts of France and Spain, and number no more than 16. Despite these stores, Pixmania is very much internet oriented. Pixmania have a very bright and colourful website whose homepage is full of special offers on electrical items. Many items are offered at greatly reduced prices for limited periods in what Pixmania refers to as Countdown Discounts. Pixmania are also one of many retailers that offer a price matching service if you find a product at a lower price elsewhere. However, where many other retailers will offer this service prior to purchase, Pixmania will still refund the difference if it is highlighted within 7 days of purchase.
Pixmania offer a service known as Zen Engagement which allows you to trade faulty products for new ones. The Zen Engagement policy is applicable for a year after purchase, and also entitles you to trade an old item for a new one. Refunded money is put into a Pix Piggy bank which allows you to put it towards any number of products on the Pixmania website.
